The QA Auditor will inspect all components and finished product to ensure that product meets all established measurements, specifications and quality requirements prior to the goods being made available to ship, on second shift. This associate will identify problems and potential concerns relative to the quality of manufactured items, communicate potential or existing quality issues, and assist with maintaining all existing QA/QC processes & programs currently in place.Responsibilities Include:Perform testing/inspection of products with measuring tools. Use computer and report results in effective manner.Ability to read, understand and apply product standards and/or specifications (drawing, measurements, and tolerances) per work order.Resourcefulness in investigating quality issues and problems.Maintain Quality Assurance database.Maintain all current standards, reports, and records for inspected products and raw material.Create & distribute any applicable QA/QC reports as neededMaintaining a high level of personal safety awareness by participating in activities relating to personnel and company safety programs.Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision in urgent situations or under pressure.Ability to communicate effectively.Qualifications:High School Diploma or equivalentMust be self-motivated, well-organized and detail-oriented with a positive attitude2-3 years of previous Quality Auditor experience in Manufacturing preferredSpecial Requirements: This position has physical requirements for moving and opening boxes, lifting fabric rolls to take samples, as well as standing while performing the inspections.
