Job SummaryThis position may be eligible for up to a $20,000 sign-on bonusThis role provides strategic leadership and support to the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) responsible for all nursing and patient care functions within the hospital organization. The successful candidate will assume responsibility for assisting in assessing, planning, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating nursing practice on a multi-unit level. This role requires 24/7 responsibility for the assigned areas and is accountable for ensuring high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care, competency of clinical staff, and effective resource management related to patient care.Key Responsibilities

• Active and current registered nurse license in the state of residence/practice
• Highly effective interpersonal and communication skills, proven leadership ability, and hospital operational expertise
• Ability to serve as a role model and advocate for the professional discipline of nursingQualificationsEducationRequired: Associate degree from an accredited nursing school with a bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field or a BSNPreferred: MSN or master's in a healthcare-related fieldExperienceRequired: 2 years of progressive management experience in a hospital environment as a manager or full-time charge nurse/related positionCertificationsRequired: Currently licensed, certified, or registered to practice profession as required by law, regulation in state of practice or policy. AHA BLS - At hire or obtain within 5 working days before assuming patient care (2 yr renewal) and ACLS - At hire or obtain within 60 days of hire/transfer (2 yr renewal)Tenet complies with federal, state, and/or local laws regarding mandatory vaccination of its workforce.
