Nurse- Dialysis HCA Houston Healthcare Medical Center is a 444-bed
acute care hospital in the heart of Houston's museum district.
Established in 1975, the hospital has been serving Houston for more
than 40 years. It provides a wide range of medical services,
including cardiology, bariatrics, orthopedics, neurology, emergency
care and more. The hospital is affiliated with HCA Houston
Healthcare, part of the HCA Healthcare Gulf Coast Division. The
division is a comprehensive network of hospitals, outpatient
surgery centers, emergency centers and diagnostic imaging
facilities in greater Houston, Corpus Christi and South Texas.
Facilities include: 17 hospitals, nine ambulatory care centers, 13
off-campus emergency centers, and a regional transfer center. What
you will do in the role: Renal Dialysis Nurse is responsible for
planning and providing patient care for the renal dialysis adult
patients in accordance with the physician's orders, hospital
policies and procedures, PSHA guidelines, AMI guidelines, JCAHO
standards, federal, state, and local regulations. The Renal
Dialysis Nurse is responsible for communicating with the primary
nurse prior to, during, and after the dialysis treatment as
necessary to assure continuity of patient care. The Renal Dialysis
Nurse is also responsible for acute and chronic treatment
modalities as ordered. The Renal Dialysis Nurse independently
performs crucial tasks in assessing, initiating, monitoring, and
terminating treatment modalities in the inpatient and outpatient
setting. Performs duties independently, in a professional manner,
without immediate or continuous supervision. Qualifications What
qualifications you will need: Graduate from an accredited school of
Nursing Bachelors of Science in Nursing preferred One (1) or more
years of recent clinical experience as a RN required Current RN
licensure in Texas American Red Cross or America Heart Association
Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification is
