Radiology Technician
Founded as Valley Community Hospital in 1975, Valley Regional

inpatient and outpatient programs and services. What you will do in
this role:
* Demonstrates competency in radiation exposure and monitoring.
* Demonstrates competency in ALAR and dose equivalent limits.
* Demonstrates competency and knowledge of Radiation physics.
* Demonstrates competency with critical behaviors and age specific
care.
* Demonstrates knowledge of proper radiation protection of patients
and employees in accordance with ACR, NRC, and ARRT (time,
distance, shielding).
* Demonstrates knowledge of automatic exposure control (AEC). *
Demonstrates knowledge of image distortion (magnification, OID,
SID).
Education: * Must have graduated from an accredited school of
Radiological Technology with an Associates degree or equivalent.
What qualifications you will need:* Must be A.R.R.T. (RT).
* Must have Texas Medical Board license (TMB).
* Clinical experience is preferred.* American Red Cross or American
Heart Association Basic Life Support course (BLS or BCLS) and
