Job Description:

Registered Nurse Labor and Delivery position available at Baptist Health System in San Antonio, Texas, requiring 36 hours of work per week with 12-hour shifts.

This role involves direct clinical patient care, assessing, planning, and implementing care to assigned patients on a per shift basis, and supervising staff to ensure high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care.

Responsibilities

• 
  
• Provide high-quality, safe, and cost-effective total nursing care to all patients.
  
• Assume responsibility for overall coordination and integration of patient care based on the nursing process.
  
• Administer medications safely and in a timely manner per hospital policy.
  
• Perform and fulfill all HICS responsibilities, assignments, tasks, and roles as directed and needed by the facility in times of emergency and/or disaster.
  
  
  Requirements
  
  • 
    
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
    
  • Currently licensed, certified, or registered to practice profession as required by law, regulation in state of practice or policy.
    
  • AHA BLS, and if applicable by corporate policy for unit of hire, AHA ACLS and/or PALS and/or NRP.
