working with Cynet Health to find a qualified NICU RN in
Brownsville, Texas, 78526! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession:
Nursing Specialty: Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 4 years in
NICU License: RN Certifications: NRP, STABLE Must-Have: Minimum 2
years of NICU Level III - IV experience. Description: Facility is
looking for a candidate with at least 4 years of experience in the
NICU. The unit consists of 10 NICU beds and 8 stepdown beds. There
are approximately 20 staff members in the unit. The staffing model
includes 1 charge nurse and up to 4 RNs on night shifts. Patient
ratios are 1:3 to 1:1. Typical equipment includes HFNC, vents,
SiPAP, HFOV, central lines, PIV, feeding pumps, and IV pumps. The
electronic medical record system used is CPN/Meditech. Candidates
should have previous experience with procedures such as
intubations, chest tubes, PICC lines, and central lines. The best
candidates will have a collaborative spirit, a willingness to help,
and a proactive approach to patient care. Weekend shifts are
required, with a minimum of 6 shifts per month. The dress code
