Job Description ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care for a travel nursing job in Brownsville, Texas. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 01/26/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: /n/n Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. /n/n Opportunity: /n RN - NICU /n/n Job Details: /n • Minimum 4 years of NICU Level III-IV experience required /n• Minimum 2 years of NICU Level III-IV experience preferred /n• Patient ratios range from 1:1 to 1:3 depending on patient acuity /n• Work with high-tech equipment including HFNC, vents, SiPAP, HFOV, central lines, PIV, feeding pumps, and IV pumps /n• EMR system: CPN/Meditech /n• Required certifications: NRP and STABLE /n• May float to Newborn Nursery when needed /n• Dress code: Royal blue scrubs required /n• Minimum 6 weekend shifts per month (Friday through Sunday) /n• Day shift staffing: 1 charge nurse and up to 4 RNs /n• Night shift staffing: 1 charge nurse and up to 4 RNs /n• Must work well with others, show willingness to help, and be proactive /n• Typical procedures include support for intubations, chest tubes, PICC lines, and central lines performed by providers /n/n Facility: /n This medical center operates a 10-bed NICU with an 8-bed stepdown unit, providing specialized care for critically ill newborns. The facility maintains a staff of 20 healthcare professionals and focuses on high-acuity neonatal care with advanced life support equipment and comprehensive medical services.
