Job Details Annual Volume: 23,000 Beds: 202 Provider Coverage: Physicians work 7a-7p and 7p-7a NPPAs work 10a-10p and 3p-1a EMR: Cerner Requirements ABEM/ABOEM or ABFM with emergency medicine experience and experience with procedures Certifications Required (if not ABEM or ABOEM) ATLS, BLS, PALS, ACLS, and NRP (all need to be through AHA) Subspecialties Available: Cardiology, Dialysis, OBGYN, Ophthalmology, Pulmonary, Neurology, Radiology, Imaging, Rehabilitation, Sleep Center, General Surgery, Urology, Wound Care Malpractice: Claims Based/Unlimited Tail Facility Information South Texas Health System Edinburg, formerly known as Edinburg Regional Medical Center, in Edinburg, Texas is an acute care, four-story hospital. The hospital is part of the South Texas Health System and is licensed to operate 127 beds on floors designated for medical, telemetry and surgery. Some services include: CAP Certified Laboratory, accredited Chest Pain Center, and Level IV Trauma Designation.
