Senior Computer Programmer

The Board of Elections in the City of New York is responsible to
ensure all citizens of New York City exercise their right to vote
legally, safely and democratically.
Starting Salary: $ 66,702.00 Annually
Benefits: This position offers paid vacation and sick leave, a
comprehensive medical plan and a pension plan.
Job Duties: Senior Computer Programmer under general supervision
with some latitude for independent or decision this class of
positions encompasses varied difficulties of work and or
supervision in the development of computer programs, responsible
for PC and server operations, develop hardware specifications and
build the base operating system for such hardware, design and
implement complex computer system, maintain, troubleshoot and
enhance existing systems, develop and maintain software for Board
of Elections use, write and maintain computer programs, maintain
the Board of Elections applications page, ICN and web design,
create instructional videos, configure, upgrade and install
computer equipment, assist in load set creation for servers or
workstations as needed, maintain databases log, sending to disaster
recovery site.
Special Working Conditions: Senior Computer Programmer may be
required to work various shifts, including Weekends and
Holidays.
Requirement: Bachelor's Degree on Computer science or related
field, Knowledgeable on ICN and Web Design, ASP.NET- VB.NET-
C#.NET- SQL
