Job Description:
The U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), a prominent agency
within the Department of Homeland Security, is seeking dedicated
and capable Air Interdiction Agents to effectively handle airborne
law enforcement efforts. Agents are tasked with operating
aircrafts, employing airborne surveillance, interception
techniques, and engaging in interdictions to prevent acts of
terrorism and enhance national security. This role requires a
unique blend of aviation skills and law enforcement knowledge to
effectively manage the diverse challenges of air interdiction.
Operate radar, infrared and radio equipment to detect illegal
activity. Pilot aircrafts for patrol, surveillance, and
interception missions. Coordinate with ground and other aerial
assets to respond to incidents swiftly. Gather and report
intelligence to support border security operations. Engage in
direct enforcement actions, including arrests and seizures.
Advanced piloting skills, including fixed-wing and rotorcraft.
Proficiency in aerial navigation systems and surveillance
technology. Strong analytical skills to evaluate intelligence and
coordinate appropriate responses. Ability to operate under stress
and make quick decisions in high-pressure environments. Medical
Insurance Dental Insurance 401k FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate
with instrument and multi-engine ratings. U.S. citizenship and the
ability to obtain a Top Secret U.S. security clearance. Physical
fitness and medical examination as per federal law enforcement
standards.
