Wellness & Recognition Regional Coordinator

Job Description:

Job Summary:

  • Serves as a resource for Wellness, and other Human Resource policies and procedures
  • Works in collaboration with management across the multiple Divisions/Programs including Workforce Development, Youth and Family Services, Immigrant Children's Shelters and Regional HQ to promote an environment that is condusive, and supportive of health and wellness opportunities.
  • Works to increase knowledge of the services offered by our health vendors, and partners
  • Builds relationships with management and employees at multiple locations to increase participation in various health programming initiatives
  • Partners with organizational leaders to identify relevant workshops, and health education needs
  • Organizes event logistics for biometric screenings, health fairs, pop-up clinics, and wellness workshops
  • Conducts, coordinates and facilitates Wellness events, as well activities aimed at improving employee health and well-being
  • Develops tailored communications in collaboration with the internal Communications teams to promote employee opportunities and/or events
  • Manages and evaluates participation data to apply effective Wellenss programming
  • Manages administrative tasks including regional budgets, compliance tasks, as well as all other program requirements, as needed
  • Performs assigned administrative duties that support the overall Wellness Program and team
  • Organizes and coordinates systems and processes that allow clean roll-outs of initiatives
  • Partners with SWK Leadership to develop necessary deliverables based on Regional needs

Other Functions:

  • Able to rally and champion Southwest Key Regional Leadership to be stewards or ambassadors of a healthier lifestyle and culture of recognition
  • Respond effectively and timely to inquiries from Programs related to policy, procedures, and best practices as it relates to Wellness programming
  • Proactively stay up to date on trends, best practices, and education related to Wellness and Recognition
  • Able to react to change productively, and handle other essential tasks as necessary and assigned

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree with 3 years of relevant work experience managing internal initiatives with proven results.
  • Experience in implementing organization-wide programs across multiple locations a plus
  • Good decision-making skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly skilled in Microsoft applications and software including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to communicate, and positively influence effectively though verbal communication
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Reliable transportation

Physical Demands:

Must be able to read, write, and communicate both verbally and in written form to express and exchange ideas. While performing the responsibilities of this job, the employee must be able to access all components of workstation and other office equipment. Frequent typing, writing, bending, and twisting. Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds.

Work Environment:

This position may involve walking or standing for periods of time when conducting on-site programming. A busy environment with many unscheduled interruptions. Frequent computer use, at workstation for extended periods of time. Public contact position requiring appropriate business apparel.
