What you will do in this
transcribes and processes doctors orders in a timely manner in
accordance with policy and procedure. Stat orders are brought to
the attention of the appropriate associates immediately.
Accurately completes computer data entry and maintains knowledge
base related to the computer.
Assembles and performs clerical duties related to the patients
chart on a timely manner.
Prepares patient chart accurately and on time for patient transfer
or discharge in accordance with policy and procedure.
Set-up, maintenance, and tear down of hospital medical records,
which includes maintaining and updating current departmental
Maintains staff access to supplies through knowledge and adherence
to unit stocking procedures.
Ability to perform and adhere to infection control as well as
patient and facility safety practices (hand washing, cleaning of
equipment and maintenance of the patients immediate care
What you will need for this role:
Basic computer skills
Good communication skills
American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support
course (BLS or BCLS) and certification is required.
