$5,000 Sign-on Bonus!The Wound Care Registered Nurse, under the direct supervision of the Chief Nursing Officer designee and in collaboration with providers, provides patients with care that is continuously evaluated, planned for, and revised as needed. The Wound Care (WC) RN conducts all required wound care activities according to hospital policy and national standards.Minimum Qualifications:Projects a professional imageKnowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirementsKnowledge of wound care related products and procedures preferredIdentification and utilization of industry evidence base standards related to wound careKnowledge of comprehensive wound management including wound assessment, formulation of treatment plan, recommendation of appropriate wound dressing, documentation, evaluation, education, data collection, surveillance and outcome data preferredStrong organizational and analytical skillsWorking knowledge of personal computer and software applications used in job functions (Order entry, data input etc.)Education and/or Experience:Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursingMinimum one (1) year hospital Medical/Surgical or Rehabilitation experience preferredWound care certification is preferredCertificates, Licenses, Registrations:Registered Nurse who is currently licensed to practice, in good standing, by the state of employmentCurrent American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support provider (BLS/CPR) status throughout employmentAHA ACLS required within 180 days of employment; must maintain currency throughout employmentCertified wound care nurse preferredIND1
