Job Description:

Up to $1,500 Sign-On bonus based on experience
Summary Under close supervision of a licensed nurse, the Certified Nursing Assistant / CNA provides basic and intermediate nursing care for assigned group of patients based on competence.

• General Nursing Units care for patients from age 18 years to maturity. Unit specific variation may apply
• Special Care Areas care for patients 18 years through adult with high-risk conditions
• Maternal Child Units: Labor and Delivery care includes patients who have a pregnancy related condition
• Nursery care includes care for the newborn until discharge
• Endoscopy Unit cares for patients 18 years and older
• Emergency Department provides care to patients of all ages
• Behavioral Health/Gero-Psych Unit provides care for patients 17 years and older requiring psychiatric care. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned
  
  Qualifications - External
  Education
  Required: High school diploma or GED
  
  Certifications
  Required:
  • Possession of a current state or national nurse's aide certification or a certification as a phlebotomist, medical technician, patient care technician, medical assistant, EKG tech or in another related field
  • BLS -Obtained through approved American Heart Association Training Center
