What you will do in this role: Demonstrates competency in radiation exposure and monitoring. Demonstrates competency in ALAR and dose equivalent limits. Demonstrates competency and knowledge of Radiation physics. Demonstrates competency with critical behaviors and age specific care. Demonstrates knowledge of proper radiation protection of patients and employees in accordance with ACR, NRC, and ARRT (time, distance, shielding). Demonstrates knowledge of automatic exposure control (AEC). Demonstrates knowledge of image distortion (magnification, OID, SID). Qualifications Education: Must have graduated from an accredited school of Radiological Technology with an Associates degree or equivalent. What qualifications you will need:Must be A.R.R.T. (RT). Must have Texas Medical Board license (TMB). Clinical experience is preferred.
