Center - Brownsville, TX Dialysis Equipment Tech PRN- Hemodialysis
Founded as Valley Community Hospital in 1975, Valley Regional

200 physicians representing over 25 specialties; Valley Regional

inpatient and outpatient programs and services. What you will do in
this role: Provides preventive maintenance, installation,
calibration, electrical safety test, and repair of Hemodialysis
equipment. Completes written documentation of all testing and
repair results and operates a computerized equipment management
program to store these results. Assist the Renal Department with
education and training of dialysis personnel in water treatment
systems. Performs Monthly Water Cultures/LAL and report to Director
appropriate action plan in a timely manner. Performs Equipment
disinfection as per department policy. Maintains data for the
department QA and CQI as related to water quality and safety.
Qualifications What qualification you will need: Associates Degree
or equivalent experience preferred with additional Biomedical
Equipment/Electronics Technical Training. Three years experience as
a Bio Medical Technician Required Certification: Technical Training
Class for Fresenius Hemodialysis System Knowledge of physiology,
electrical, electronic, mechanical, optical, hydraulic, pneumatic,
and principals that apply to biomedical equipment systems. Using
and interpreting national safety and accrediting standards,
equipment systems application in medicine and medical safety
